NFL Free Agency is full go and the Chicago Bears just traded for Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Nick Foles. Nick Foles is a Superbowl winning quarterback that Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy believe is capable enough to serve as the Chicago Bears starting quarterback next season if Mitchell Trubisky cannot make the next step. The Chicago Bears have undoubtedly invested a lot of resources into revamping the offense this current season. The Bears invested a 3rd round pick in David Montgomery and Millions into Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis. The Bear's progression on offense from 2019-2019 will also be largely dependent on the growth of Mitchell Trubisky and his understanding of Head Coach Matt Nagy's Scheme. Both Austin and Reese are optimistic on the Bears offense this season and hope to see the much-needed development out of it on Thursday Night Football (Week 1) at Soldier field against the Packers.

In the first every Bear Necessities podcast, Austin and Reece go through the Chicago Bear's 2019-2020 Schedule and Analyze the projected wins and losses. The Chicago Bears had a major offseason and acquisitions of prominent NFL names like HaHa Clinton-Dix and Cordarrell Patterson. Though the Chicago Bears have a much tougher schedule in 2019 than they had last year- Both Austin and Reece put their faith in Matt Nagy and Mitchell Trubisky to lift the Bears to a higher level than in 2018.
