While Justin Fields was not the reason the team lost the game, his inability to produce efficient drives down the field contributed strongly to the loss. The passive leadership of Luke Getsy and Matt Eberflus put both the defense and the offense in adverse positions throughout the whole game; ultimately, ending the season on the same note it was started on.
