The Chicago Bears struggles with having any sort of stability on offense in the 2019 season. The One bright spot offensively the entire year was Wide Reciever Allen Robinson who reached over 1000 yards and continuously showed to be the WR the Chicago Bears were searching for in the 2018 offseason. However, Allen Robinson admitted that despite being in his last contract year, the Chicago Bears have yet to reach out to him regarding a new contract. Although it is unlikely Robinson would hit Free Agency next year, many Bears fans are fed up with the handling of the fan favorite reciever. Austin and Reece Breakdown the reasons behind Ryan Paces decision to wait on an extension and discuss wether or not the Bears could survive without Allen Robinson in their future.
Despite all of the disrespect coming from the National Media, Khalil Mack was ranked as the NFLs top edge rusher by front office executives and head coaches. This is not surprising considering the statements that have been coming from the Bear Necessities crew and their consistent debunking of National Media "experts" who often times are very ill informed on the content in which they are putting out.
In other NFL news, Myles Garrett, Browns star pass rusher became the first player to surpass Khalil Mack's historic contract for a defensive player by recieving a 5 Year 125 Million dollar contract from the Cleveland Browns this week. Austin and Reece Breakdown the outlook on this contract and wether or not Garrett will live up to his dollar amount.
Finally, Austin and Reece end the show by giving 4 Players on the Chicago Bears who could potentially be traded in the 2020 Season. Although some may be shocking and others unlikely, Austin and Reece both acknowledge that no player is safe on this Bears team.

The Chicago Bears have desperately been looking to improve their run game. One point that many national media analysts have pointed to is the lack of a rotational back between David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen. This past week, Raheem Mostert requested a trade leading many to believe that the Bears could potentially be interested due to his size-explosiveness combination he could bring to a running back group that is otherwise pretty polar opposites. The Bear Necessities crew breaks down the Raheem Mosterts potential fit with the Chicago Bears and weather or not the Bears should make a move for him.
Mitchell Trubisky has reportedly been having himself a major offseason leading many Bears fans to express faith in the 2017 2nd overall pick. The Bear Necessities Crew assesses the impact this may have on the Bears QB battle between Trubisky and newly added Quarterback Nick Foles who the Bears traded for this offseason.

The Chicago Bears invested a lot of capital in Mitchell Trubisky and so far it has not panned out. The entire city of Chicago has been calling for his head since is overtly disappointing 2019 season. However, Mitch Trubisky has been hard at work with a well regarded QB Trainer and had major shoulder rehab for an injury that has bothered him since 2018. Austin analyzes Bears Fans' claims that this will have a big impact on his 2020 season. All while this is happening, Patrick Mahomes, Former NFL MVP and Superbowl Winner, just recieved a historical contract amounting to 503 Million over the next 10 years. This has led many Chicago Bears fans to once again call for GM Ryan Pace's head for picking the lack luster Trubsiky over the stud Mahomes in the 2017 NFL Draft. Austin defends Ryan Pace and talks a bit about what this contract means for the Kansas City Chiefs. Finally, Khalil Mack came to Chicago for 2 First Round Picks in 2018 just to light the league on fire with his play, but in 2019, statistically, he had a major regression. Bear's Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano and many other Bears defensive coaches have commented on the new chip on Khalil's shoulder and the new work ethic and mindset he has brought to the table. Reece takes a deep dive on exactly what Khalil is trying to prove in 2020 and how he can do so.

The Chicago Bears in 2019 had horrible QB Play from former 2nd overall pick Mitchell Trubisky. This ultimately led to the bears going out in the 2020 offseason to acquire Nick Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars and change much of their offensive structure. At the time, many questioned this move considering the other quarterback options that were available on the market; one of those being Cam Newton. This past week Cam Newton was signed by the New England Patriots for a lot less money than Nick Foles is making with the bears currently, causing many Bears Fans to either stand up or defend Ryan Pace's decision. This week on the Bear Necessities Podcast, Austin and Reece breakdown the logic behind the Chicago Bears QB decision this offseason and compare Nick Foles to all other options that were on the table for the Bears at the start of NFL Free Agency in 2020, including recently signed Cam Newton.

Despite the Chicago Bears mightily improving throughout the 2020 NFL Offseason, it seems like much of the national media holds negative views on the Bears 2020 season outlook. This is a very confusing yet understandable phenomenon, as much of the national media portrays the Bears as this mightily dysfunctional organization as they were in the early 2010s. Although Faiz, Austin, and Reece all have their doubts at the quarterback position, they all understand the Bears improved this offseason and that they have proven they can win with Mitchell Trubisky...IF he is the starter (Hint: it's unlikely). Faiz also breaks down some common misconceptions about his beliefs on the Bears and gives us some of his hot takes for the 2020 Bears season.
